This week’s course materials explored globalization, late(-stage) capitalism, and international organizing. Citing all the class materials, please answer the following questions in a few paragraphs:
Explain at least two ways the histories of imperialism and colonialism tied to globalization, late (-stage) capitalism, and mass incarceration. Address how workers in globalized industries (in the US and abroad) have organized and fought back against their exploitation (be sure to define the type of exploitation) Who are accountable for this exploitation– corporations or consumers?
