– Critically examine how international LMD (leadership and management development) can help managers and leaders develop a global mind-set.
– Debate different competences that an international leader/manager would require e.g. cultural sensitivity, global mind-set, language skills, awareness of own culture, working in intercultural teams etc.
– Justify why improving cross-cultural awareness and understanding through LMD is important to an organization.
– Critically analyze the differences between leadership and management development and apply a range of approaches for identifying individual, group and organizational needs across varying global contexts.
– Critically evaluate leadership and management development strategies and implement ethically appropriate methods to develop, train, educate and retain leaders and managers in global organizations.
– Critically assess and measure the effectiveness of leadership and management development interventions to build a business case for organizational effectiveness.
– Appraise the critical contribution of the initiation, design, development and implementation of leadership and management development interventions, practices and strategies.
