Paper Format:
5-7 pages long, double-spaced, have 1” margins, 12-point font
Headers should include only the course number (CONF101 Fall 2022)
Papers should have a title, your name, and the instructor’s name
Sources should be cited using a single standard academic citation format (you can use any format you would like)

Specific Requirements for the paper:
This paper will have 3 sections: Introduction, Conflict Causes/Dynamics, and Conclusion.
Introduction: In 1-2 sentences, introduce your conflict topic, and in 1-2 sentences, introduce what you are going to write in your paper (max a half page long).
Conflict Causes/Dynamics: By referring to the topics that we covered earlier (Conflict Nature and Sources as well as Conflict Dynamics and Analysis), you are expected to explain the root causes of your conflict case and the analysis of the stage of the conflict. In order to discuss the root causes of the conflict, use one theory that we discussed in class and elaborate on it. Refer to the theory’s main assumptions, arguments etc., and then explain how these apply to your case. Please don’t hesitate to conduct research on your conflict case and use both in-course and outside sources in your paper.
Conclusion: Please summarize what you discussed in your paper. Don’t discuss anything new in this part.
