Skills Demonstration
A skills demonstration is used to assess a wide range of practical based learning outcomes including practical skills and knowledge. A skills demonstration will require the learner to complete a task or series of tasks that demonstrate a range of skills.
Guidelines:
In this Skills Demonstration, the learner will demonstrate their ability to plan, implement and evaluate a personal and professional programme for themselves. Drawing on course notes, self-directed learning and practical placement experience*, the learner is required to complete a written skills demonstration report which will assess a range of skills either practically and/or theoretically (see below for further details).
The same work placement may be used for this module (Personal and Professional Development) as is used for other modules on your level 6 programme, for example the Work Experience module. However, learners should ensure that they complete the assessment criteria for both modules.
