Academic Integrity Guidance
Please ensure that you attempt to provide both in text citation/referencing and a bibliography/ reference list at the end of each assignment. The type of referencing used by The Open College is Harvard Referencing style.
For your convenience, there is a quick Harvard Referencing Guide at the bottom of the course moodle page which provides examples. You may reference the course learning material (units) and other sources such as books, websites and journal articles. Each requirement (section) within your assignment should have approximately two references to show that you have an informed opinion.
Please avoid ‘copying and pasting’ large amounts of text from various sources and using this for assignment content. Direct quotes once referenced and paraphrasing again with appropriate referencing is acceptable.
Please also avoid the use of artificial intelligence to generate assignment content as each assignment needs to be written by you as the student expressing your own opinion and providing your own examples.
