Assessment
- The purpose of this assessment is for the examiners to be satisfied that you have developed a question that can be subject to a systematic review.
- The online tutorials will help you in deciding your research question, so make sure you attend these.
- You will need to write a max one-page document, addressing the following three elements;
1. Background – make a maximum of 5 bullet points outlining why your planned review is needed, that it hasn’t been done before, declare that you have done a preliminary search of the evidence, and there is enough evidence for you to review.
2. Question and outcomes – written in the PICO format with a clear population, intervention comparison and primary outcome. Some elements of PICO may not be relevant to you if you are not investigating the impact of an intervention. In that case you can use the PEO format. - Once you have written your document you should submit the one-page document into Moodle via Turnitin, on or before October 23rd at noon
- You will receive feedback on your assessment document via Turnitin, on or before November 6th
