The purpose of this assignment is to practice accurately and correctly documenting client teaching and the client/caregiver’s response to teaching.
Choose one of the scenarios presented on the “Client Medication Teaching and Opioid Safety Scenarios” resource. In a narrative, provide detailed, accurate, and correct documentation of the teaching provided and the client/caregiver’s response. The narrative should include the following:
- Summary of all materials covered with the client during instruction.
- Client response to the instruction provided.
APA style is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
