Select TWO types of patient/ clinical monitoring tests from the lessons in unit 2 or those relevant to your own practice. Research these to explore the importance to patient centred care, and discuss possible limitations attached to them. Analyse a patient monitoring system and records/ documentation used either from your practice or from the lessons in unit 2 to explain their purpose, effectiveness, and possible limitations. Furthermore, complete a review of the chosen patient monitoring tests and documentation system for patient monitoring chosen for your assignment work to analyse their effectiveness, and make possible recommendations on how the documentation systems for patient monitoring systems could be improved. Case studies or workplace reports can be used to support your task 1 assignment work to elaborate on key areas. Your assignment should be referenced using the Harvard Referencing System. Any visuals such as tables, diagrams, graphs, clinical pictures etc. should be clearly referenced and signposted to your appendix appropriately. |
