In your philosophy of coaching paper you will want to provide your readers with a comprehensive description of your coaching and leadership. For the first 5 sections below (A, B, C, D, E), please do not write in 1st person (I, me, my, we, us, our) and also do not write in 2nd person tense (you, your). Parts A, B, C, D, E and your closing paragraph(s) should all be written in 3rd person.

1. An introductory paragraph explaining what a personal coaching philosophy is and why it is important
2.  Purpose Statement for your Team, Program, or Athletic Department and a  minimum of two paragraphs explaining why your Purpose is significant. Your Purpose Statement should begin: "The Purpose of (insert your program, department, or team name) is…"
3. Vision Statement for your Team, Program, or Athletic Department and a  minimum of two paragraphs explaining why your Vision is significant. Your Vision Statement should begin: "The Vision of (insert your program, department, or team name) is…"
4. Mission Statement for your Team, Program, or Athletic Department and a  minimum of two paragraphs explaining why your Mission is significant. Your Mission Statement should begin: "The Mission of (insert your program, department, or team name) is…"
5. Core Values that you will infuse into your Team, Program, or Athletic Department that will serve as your distinctive roadmap to fulfill your vision and live out your mission. You will prioritize your Core Values and provide a minimum of one complete paragraph to describe each value and explain why each one is so important.
6. This section of your paper will describe the type of leader you are or are striving to become (Performance, Developmental, Relational, Transformational, Servant Leader) as well as your particular style of leadership (Submissive, Cooperative, Command, Situational, Inspirational). The heading for this section is Type and Style of Leadership. You may use limited 1st person in this section.
7. If you are a Transformational or Servant Leader, or your goal is to become a Transformational or Servant Leader, also provide plans for: 1) instilling good character in your athletes and 2) maximizing your student athletes’ academic achievement. (In previous Discussion Board responses, you began to tackle the challenges of putting together effective plans for these topics). You do not have to include this if you do not aspire to become a Servant Leader or Transformational Coach. This section may also be written using limited 1st person.
8. Please include a closing paragraph that concludes your paper effectively. Write it in 3rd person.
