Assessment Description
Reminder: Points for first attempt will vary per course. The points should not change for the first
attempt in those courses. Students must successfully pass the performance-based assessment Medication Math in order to pass this course. Students will have three attempts. Students will not be able to complete the Lab Medication Administration PBA until the Medication Math Exam PBA has been successfully passed. You must obtain a minimum score of 90%. If you do not achieve a minimum score of 90% after the third attempt will fail the course.
Students who achieve:
90% or above on the first attempt will earn 10 points.
90% or above on the second & third attempts will earn 0 points.
If you do not achieve a 90% on the first attempt, please contact your instructor for remediation instructions. If a student is unsuccessful on the first attempt, the next attempt must be completed within one week following the prior attempt. If student fails to complete within one week, it will be counted as an unsuccessful attempt.
Students should be working closely in that week with the faculty on remediating.
