PROJECT – INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT

This project is an individual assignment. The assignment requires each student to prepare a detailed security plan for a sensitive installation producing high-grade aircraft components in Singapore for the entire South East Asia region. The objective of this assignment is to evaluate the student’s understanding / application of the knowledge and skills acquired in this module.

The detailed requirements for the individual project are given in the attached exercise scenario. Each student will be assigned to prepare a detailed security plan for this sensitive installation.
A written submission of the project paper is required. The written submission must be submitted to the lecturer on the agreed date as briefed by the lecturer.

Objectives:

To acquaint the participants with the security planning procedure through a Risk Management process
To put in process acquired knowledge in Physical, Electronics, Procedural Security and Manpower Readiness
To familiarise with preparing a Protection Plan for presentation to Management for approval

Conduct Threat Analysis
Analyse Criticality of Assets and their Vulnerabilities
Access Probability of Threat Occurrence
Access the Level of Damage and Risk Level
Develop Security Protection Plan
Apply M3 Methodology in Developing the Security Protection Plan
