The application paper is intended to be a cumulative work that accomplishes three primary objectives:
Discuss the panoply of organizational theories from Morgan’s (2006) through metaphors in a thoughtful and integrative way, looking for themes and applications that cut across the theories.
What Metaphor, or Combination of Metaphors, Describes My Organization, and Why? Using Haverman (2022), does demographics, relationships, and/or culture drive this metaphor, and how?
Present your chosen approach to leadership, and how your Organizational metaphor (s) might affect your leadership.
The paper must include frequent references and citations from both the class’s primary texts, as well as Greenleaf’s small book. You can also supplement using outside sources, but don’t make them primary to your paper. Then your thoughts and examples are needed to explain and interpret your citations and themes.
The paper must be 6 pages of content, double spaced, Times New Roman, and written following APA guidelines, including citations (including page numbers), with a separate title page, table of contents, section headers, and reference page (the title page, table of contents, and references section do not count toward the 6 pages of content)
