Look up definitions of feminism and articulate your relationship to it. -Connecting to the examples in the Backlash article, offer current examples of Backlash beyond those we have discussed in class. -Use chapter 8 to make sense of your experience as a gendered person in an educational setting. Discuss any ideas from the chapter that connect to your past or present courses, curriculum, relation to teachers, etc. -Romano and Dokoupil discuss new roles for men in the home and at work. Orenstein mentions women’s relationships to sex, children, marriage, and work. Please use these readings in addition to chapters 7 & 9 to share about your concerns, choices, roles, and future plans. -Using Zimbardo and Kimmel and NOMAS discuss your relationship to masculinity and what ideas in the article you experience, expect in other men, or hear in your relationships with others
