In this assignment, you will explore the technology tools available to strengthen literacy, design a pedagogical wheel or chart to guide technology integration into literacy instruction, and compose a 1- to 2-page reflection.

Step 1. Research
Research best practices for integrating technology into literacy instruction. Consider rigor and Bloom’s taxonomy in your analysis. Then, explore technology tools available that would be appropriate for technology integration and literacy instruction.

Step 2. Design
Synthesize your research to design a pedagogical technology wheel or chart that could be used to integrate technology at different levels of rigor. The wheel should include action verbs, activities, and technology tools for each level of Bloom’s taxonomy. Limit the number of technologies or apps to focus on the ones that will provide the greatest benefit to the needs of diverse learners.

Step 3. Compose
Compose a reflection about the process of designing the wheel or chart and how you will use the product to lead technology integration in your school or district.
