Question1:   The Carlsson and Nelson articles are published in highly revered medical journals. Each group of researchers is providing the USPSTF with a recommendation to change the current screening processes.  Read through each article, visit the USPSTF website (Opportunity for Public Comment) and make your own judgment of whether the researchers supply a significant argument for change. Are you convinced that the change needs to occur – why or why not? 

Question 2 :   Apply the guidelines for judging whether an observed association is causal (found on pages 250-253 of the Gordis text) to the evidence supplied in the Jackson article.

Question 3:   Compare and contrast the differences in “net benefits” in the Gordis text with the recommendations in the Harris article.  What are the similarities and differences in the terminology?
