Assignment 1: Research Paper-The length should be up to 1500 words on paper. For this assignment you will write a research paper of no more than 1500 words on a business topic of your own choosing. The paper should be based on recent business and academic research that is no more than 10 years old and should be based primarily on high quality academic research.  Format The assignment document should be with  Microsoft Word (or word-processing software), double-spaced, in a 12-point font. Pages should have one-inch margins and include page numbers. Format your paper and include citations and references in APA Style.  Topic Choose a recent business topic as the basis for your research question (s). For example: How will the threat of inflation affect business in Canada ? How does crowd funding affect the availability of small business financing? What are some of the emerging techniques in social media marketing ?  You can find topics in many places, including the Financial Post and Globe and Mail, magazines, or television new sources.  Creativity is encouraged in  choice of topic. References and Style The  paper should contain at least six different reference sources using American Psychological Association (APA) Style to format in-text citations and references.
