Background
The e-commerce industry in Singapore has expanded rapidly in recent years, driven by platforms such as Shopee, Shein, Lazada, Qoo10, and Amazon Singapore. Consumers are increasingly shifting towards online shopping due to its convenience, variety, and competitive pricing.
However, while these platforms attract a large customer base, maintaining brand loyalty remains a significant challenge. Many consumers make purchasing decisions primarily based on discounts or product availability, leading to frequent switching between platforms. Moreover, growing concerns over data privacy, product authenticity, and delivery reliability have influenced consumers’ trust and long-term loyalty.
As competition intensifies, understanding what drives customers to remain loyal to a particular e-commerce platform has become critical for sustaining profitability and market share.
This research aims to explore key factors influencing brand loyalty among e-commerce users in Singapore, providing insights that can help online retailers strengthen their customer relationships and brand value.
