Some believe yoga is yet another thing that has become Westernized. For them, this is a problem because Westernization tends to strip the spiritual part of yoga away. On the other hand, some Westerners believe yoga is just another way to improve their mind and body through exercise. Do some quick research on the history of yoga, as well as various opinions of it, then answer the following questions.
1. Explain one non-Western perspective on yoga that you found to be insightful, even if you don’t agree with it.

3. Based on this research, how might those who practice yoga in the West do so with empathy of the non-Western perspective? (This is not to say they have to do this. This is only for those who want to do this.
