Imagine that you are an outside consultant hired by an organization to evaluate why
a specific job within that organization is not engaging. Think of your task being to
produce an argumentative report that explains why a specific job is unengaging and
how to restructure that job to make it more engaging and productive.
(2) Your abstract should be around 250 words.
(3) It will provide a brief description of the job position that you will look at in your essay
and your argument for why the job is not engaging and how it can be improved.
(4) You can pick any job position, so long as you refer to core concepts discussed in the
readings.
(5) You do not have to have your paper fully worked out. The abstract provides a plan of
what you intend to argue. You can think of it as an introductory paragraph that provides
a road map to the rest of your paper.
