Directions:
Write a five-paragraph essay of between 650 and 800 words in which you make an arguable claim (the essay’s thesis) about media literacy. Your claim can be any idea about media that is arguable (not a fact).
Use two of the sources listed on your log to develop your ideas. You must cite two sources, one of which must be a written source. You may use ideas cited on your log or another idea not cited, as long as the sources are from among those assigned about media or the internet posted on our Moodle page.
Additionally, in your introductory or concluding paragraph, you must cite and connect an idea to your argument from one of the following:
• “One Reader’s Story”
• “Coming to an Awareness of Language”
• Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass
Structure your essay as in the diagram posted on Moodle.
Use MLA in-text citation with a works cited page (MLA-3 and A4-h). Use MLA formatting and Times New Roman 12 font.
