Yalom is perhaps the greatest living existential therapist, a prolific writer, and well known for both his group and individual work. Read Flores, P. (2006). Interview of Irvin D. Yalom, MD, located in this week’s readings, to learn more about Yalom.

This week, you are examining existential and Gestalt therapeutic approaches. Assume you have an opportunity to interview several key theorists.

Next, prepare a two to four-paragraph response from each of the selected individuals for the following question:
From your theoretical or therapeutic perspective, how important is it for the client to understand what the world is all about?
Support your explanation with at least two references from scholarly resources.
Length: 2-3 pages, not including title and reference pages
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards
