These instructions will guide you through the assessment requirements for the second assessment task –the annotated bibliography. To begin with, you will need to choose a question from the list, which can be found on the assessments page. Each of these questions relates to a topic you have learned about in the course. If you are unsure about the topics or the questions, contact your tutor.

You are encouraged to choose a question related to a topic of your interest, as this will make completing the assessments a more enjoyable experience. This assessment feeds into your third and final assessment –the review essay.

That means that the work you do in assessment 2 –collecting psychological literature and summarising and evaluating this literature in the form of an annotated bibliography –is the first step in the completion of the review essay. Both assessments will therefore address the same question using the same literature, which is why choosing a question that you are interested in will be important –it will be carried through to your next assignment.
