House Pets: How they affect our lives and our environment

Thesis: While house pets are an essential part of human life, pet ownership provides both a direct correlation to health risks in humans, as well as the growing feral animal population. Not only do pet owners need to be properly educated and possibly certified, establishing new federal policies that will solve this invasive species dilemma must be sanctioned in order to save certain native species from extinction.
