I. introduction, providing background and or necessary context for your topic, and a clear thesis presenting the paper’s stance on the topic.
II. Body paragraph 1: presenting the first part of the argument. The paragraph should begin with a strong sentence.

B Evidence (facts, statistics, quotes from an authority, logic)
III. Body paragraph 2: present the next part of the argument. The paragraph should begin with a strong topic sentence. (support with A. Evidence. B. Evidence)
IV. Body paragraph 3: Present another (Possibly the last) part of the argument. The paragraph should begin with a strong topic sentence. (Support with A. Evidence. B. Evidence).
V. Body paragraph 4-5: You may have more main points to examine. Feel free to add one or two-argument body paragraphs.
VI. Present the opposing point of view.
VII. Rebut the opposing point of view. ( use logic and evidence to break down and refute the validity of the opposing point of view).
VIII. Conclusion: Wrap up your argument and drive home the thesis. Strive for a strong, thought-provoking close to the writing.
