Create a message that welcomes students to your course, communicates the vital information they need to know before beginning your course, and surveys students and their support systems for their communication preferences for later outreach. This deliverable may be submitted as a Word document or Google Doc, video or audio recording, presentation document such as PowerPoint or Google Slides, or an interactive survey tool or website—provided it contains both a welcome message and a way for students and their support systems to indicate how they would like to be contacted. You should select a messaging format that you would use in your profession to communicate effectively and collect, store, and use data.
