here my thoughts on how you could improve your thesis and make sure it gets to an adequate level for its purpose, that is matching the MA level it should.
As it stands the title is broad enough that lends itself for being turned into a literature based thesis, scrapping off the rather cumbersome empirical part.
My suggestion therefore would be:
Keep the abstract though turn it into a more general problem with language and online environments while getting rid of the part that refers to the empirical study which is not up to standards
keep the intro though turn it into a more general problem without referring to the case study you have carried out. In other words do change the final part that refers to the actual study.
Then we move on to your literature review. This part can be mostly kept, THOUGH it is important that before this overview on computer mediated communication technologies, you deal, drawing on Blommaert’s work (2020) on the online offline nexus
Jan Blommaert on “the online offline nexus”
The online-offline nexus is a term referring to a social reality in which online and offline dimensions of action and identity are effectively fused.

but also:

Next to that you also need to gain access to the following book
in which we deal with Language and Society and in which a fresh, novel, understanding of language is being explained. By tackling these two points first, that is the online offline nexus, NEXT TO/TOGETHER WITH the new understanding of language that we subscribe to in our work THEN you will have a solid basis from which you can start and you can combine it with the Chpater 2 you already have, while deleting section 2.2.5 which will be dealt instead through the book above and through Blommaert’s theories.
As you can imagine your methodology section it is of no use anymore, so here I would suggest you take on board 5 to 10 empirical articles dealing with an array of platforms and of how young people of the age range you had selected communicate on this one. In short a solid annotated bibliography which could be of help for the reader to understand that you possess quite some knowledge of the field.
5. Conclusion, will be to highlight which foci should there be for future research. Up to you, whether you wish to focus solely on empirical grounds that have not been explored thus far, think in terms of platforms and groups and the making of conviviality or the construction of identities via Tik Tok OR whether you want also to include a broader conclusion on the new understanding of language to which sociolinguistics should subscribe to.
Please do let me know whether anything is unclear and whether I can be of any further help. With a bit of effort we will come to a fine end of this thesis.
