Select an organization, or setting within the organization, with a recurring issue or problem that needs to be addressed. If you are not currently in an organization, select one with which you are familiar and that you can access in order to complete the requirements for the course project. If this is not possible, seek guidance from your instructor.
Part 3
Write a 56 page paper in which you synthesize information from the articles you found through your research in this unit, as well as course readings, to do the following:
Describe the existing organizational issue or problem you are addressing, as well as its setting within the organization.
Describe the focus of the intended change, along with a rationale for selecting this issue or problem.
(Focus examples: broken lines of communication within a hierarchically structured organization; high employee turnover that affects overall achievement of organizational goals; silos or lack of information sharing that contributes to redundant work; continually doing business as usual, leading to stagnation or lack of innovation within an organization.)
Assess the importance of using evidence to address organizational issues or problems.
Analyze how key performance indicators might be applied in addressing the issue or problem.
Analyze how a shared leadership process might be applied in addressing the issue or problem.
Analyze how systems thinking and knowledge sharing might be applied in addressing the issue or problem.
