Name and historical religious beliefs and practices of the Native American community
The focus in this article is on the Eskimo people, who are found in Alaska, Canada, Siberia and Greenland. They occupy the northern circumpolar regions. The traditional religion of the Eskimo people was said to be animistic. This is to mean that objects, creatures and everything else in the universe are said to have some spirituality to their existence. Other spirits however, are considered to be difficulty-causing to human beings (United States, 2015).
