Identify and narrate methods to evaluate the health intervention. Here you select and describe a method or methods (process, outcomes, or impact) to evaluate your intervention. For this part, you are asked to describe an evaluation plan for measuring the change. At the point that a health promotion program is ready for implementation, there should be plans for data collection to evaluate the process, impact, and outcome of the program. These activities are the final three phases in the PRECEDE-PROCEED planning model. Typically, process evaluation determines how the program was implemented according to the protocol. Impact evaluation assesses change in predisposing, reinforcing, and enabling factors, as well as in the behavioral and environmental factors. Finally, the outcome evaluation determines the program′s effect on health and quality-of-life indicators. Generally, measurable objectives written at each step of the PRECEDE-PROCEED model serve as milestones against which accomplishments are evaluated.
