Then return to the Lola’s Market case (case 2 in the book…what you already worked on in your first case assignment).
Write a short response to each of the following questions/tasks. Simply download this document and use it as your ‘answer sheet’ by writing your name and then your answers below each item.
1. Consider the business case for ethical strategies and business management.
a. Identify three ‘ethical management’ issues you believe David and Lola’s Market ought to pay attention to as either risks or opportunities.
b. For each of the three issues, describe how it is a strategic risk or an opportunity.
2. David hires you to recommend a ‘THREE-POINT PLAN’ for Lola’s to position itself as a firm with a strong commitment to social responsibility.
a. What would you recommend as the three points – the three main themes or initiatives – you think will best achieve that goal?
b. Argue how each of those three recommendations has positive strategic value for Lola’s.
3. What other ideas would you suggest to David if his goal is to truly build a culture and organization that emphasizes ethics and social responsibility?
