An 80-year-old client lives with his daughter. He has become confused and is having some difficulty with short term memory. Address the following:
- Explain how the client’s ability to complete one activity of daily living (ADL) is affected by short-term memory decline and why.
- Provide recommendations for the client’s daughter to help the client remain independent with ADLs as much possible.
Post three different responses to classmates with different ADLs from your initial post and identify one area related to that ADL of ongoing monitoring required for the clients’ safety and well-being.
Discussion posts should be at least 200 words, and responses should be 100-150 words.
