Assignment CLO 3 – 30%
By using MATLAB, set up a simulation consisting of 6 nodes in a Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET). Assume that a node s in this MANET wants to route a traffic demand of capacity (w) to an intended destination node r. Given that the distance cost (d) for each link (edge), and each link can only carry the maximum capacity (maxW).
1. Find the shortest distance route from s to r given that:
s: node 4
r: node 6
w: 8
distance cost (d): d (1,2) = 14; d (1,5) =14; d (2,3) =17; d (2,6) =10; d (3,4) =15; d (3,5) =9; d (4,6) =12;
maxW for all links: 17
2. Test the model by using LPSolveIDE software, and verify the result.
3. Expand the model so that it can accommodate multiple demands at the same time. Perform steps 1 and 2, using following dataset. Note everything are the same, except for demands:
s1: node 4
r1: node 6
w1: 10
s2: node 3
r2: node 1
w2: 15
distance cost (d): d (1,2) = 14; d (1,5) =14; d (2,3) =17; d (2,6) =10; d (3,4) =15; d (3,5) =9; d (4,6) =12;
maxW for all links: 17
