This is a Collaborative Learning Community (CLC) assignment.

Your instructor will assign each CLC group an ethical dilemma topic.

The CLC group will be responsible for researching the pros and cons of the assigned ethical dilemma to formulate a stance (position). The presentation will address the following:

• Overview of the ethical dilemma.
• Pros and cons of the ethical dilemma.
• Group stance on the ethical dilemma.
• Rationale for the group’s stance based on critical reasoning and ethical decision-making.
• Support for your group’s stance must include, the Code of Ethics, Nurse Practice Act, and at least one peer reviewed article.

Create a PowerPoint presentation and deliver it via Zoom. See “GCU Zoom Resources,” located in the topic Resources, for more information on using Zoom.

Professional attire is required for the presenter(s).

The group may choose to have one presenter or use a combination of group members to deliver the presentation.

While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
