Write a four-five page paper outlining recent efforts undertaken by federal authorities to protect the United States against terror attacks, especially since the events of 9/11/01. Consider discussing both foreign and domestic threats. At a minimum, highlight laws enacted by Congress, the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the purposes of federal partnerships with state and local government.
