Discuss three aspects of how information technology and/or social media are affecting a certain location. Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, North America, and South America are the regions assigned. Depending on the materials available, you might concentrate on a single country within the region or on the entire region.

In your country/region, how has information technology and/or social media changed the social, political, economic, cultural, ecological, or other aspects of life? Concentrate on the effects on at least three facets of life.

You should investigate the effects of information technology and/or social media in your country by concentrating on at least three elements of life. You should identify the parts of information technology you intend to investigate. In your discussion of how information technology and/or social media affect three specific parts of life in a certain country, you must be precise by referencing facts or real-world examples from your source materials.

You might also choose to concentrate on how the region’s social, political, cultural, or economic structure/tradition influences the development of information technology in your assigned location.

As an example: How have a country’s or region’s cultural, social, and political institutions and customs influenced the development of ICT in that country or region?

You should also choose to analyze three aspects, and the focus of the analysis should be consistent.
