The individual assignment focuses on self-reflection and the continuous exercises related to that being done throughout the course.
It means that writing the report for the individual assignment can, and should, be done in parallel with the course as it develops.
Completing the individual assignment consists of doing the following tasks:
a.) Reflect upon what you have learned about yourself and your leadership abilities during the course (consider all the work, exercises, and tests that you have participated in, also consider the article by Christensen on
“How wil you measure your life?”)?Is there anything in particular you think you need to change or develop further? What is your strategy for the medium-term future for you to Be the Best you can Be?
b.) Choose two leaders from Gardner’s book (Alfred P. Sloan & Martin L. King) and answer the following question: “Based on the description of the two leaders as persons and their leadership, what have I learned myself that I would like to bring with me in my following career as a potential leader?”
The report for this assignment should be very well thought through, clearly stated and with a well-developed and readable structure and in the best possible language.
It is to be an account of your own personal development and as a statement, also to yourself, about what type of leader You aspire to be in the future and what you might have to develop in order to be that about what this activity means to You.
The report should not exceed 1500 words, not including front page and references. In order to Pass, it should reflect a sincere effort of self-reflection and an ability to answer the given questions.
