Giles argues in the Harvard Business Review that “a leader with high ethical standards demonstrates a commitment to fairness, creating trust that both they and their staff will obey the rules of the game.” Similar to how leaders prevent blind-siding individuals and guarantee that everyone is on the same page when they explain their expectations clearly.
