I have made suggestions to all of you both during our meetings and via Canvas and email exchanges. For Monday you are to read the following three chapters, and write paragraph-length summaries that identify the questions and methods of each of these historiographical genres. In addition you are asked to write a fourth paragraph that summarizes a chapter or article related to your specific topic that embodies one of these three genres of history. For example, if your topic was the French Revolution you could read a chapter on the French Revolution that takes a quantitative approach, or one of the other two approaches. Thus each of you will be reading and summarizing something related specifically to your research project. Source: houses of history
