Special Project #2 Bioethics Research Project
Each student will be researching and presenting information on a selected topic. The final product is a worth 100 points and must be submitted as a PowerPoint Presentation (.ppt or .pptx ONLY). in Moodle by 11:55pm on Saturday, 11/19.
Choose a “controversial” (divisive) topic from the list to research:
Organ transplantation Stem cells and/or cloning
Pain management Genetic engineering
Eugenics Animal testing
Designer babies Antibiotic resistance
Geriatrics and aging Human population control
Synthetic biology Human experimentation
Environmental ethics Genetically modified organisms
Pharmacology Technology and computing (gaming?)
Vaccines Free choice (if approved by teacher)
