You are a newly graduated professional, passionate about your issue. You are committed to creating positive change in your community. You have studied the Social Change Model/Wheel and are familiar with the 12 ways to work for social change.

Question 1: Reflecting on the quote, “Leadership is ultimately about change, and… effective leaders are those who are able to effect positive change on behalf of others and society,” how do you believe you might effect positive change in your personal life and professional career to address your public issue? Be specific about your goals and the steps you will take to become a change agent. Consider the following:
What are your short-term and long-term goals?
Who are the people or communities you aim to advocate for, and why?
How will you measure the impact of your actions?
Question 2: In what ways do you embody the principle of leadership as described in your textbook? How will you inspire and mobilize others in your community to join your efforts? What part of the social change wheel will best assist you in addressing your issue? How would you best employ that component from the social change wheel.
