Description of variables:

IQ – Scores on an intelligence scale that range from 55 – 128. Higher scores reflect higher intelligence.

Minority status – Individuals coded as either “0” = non-monitory or “1” = minority.

Age – Age measured in years.

Peer Delinquency – Number of friends that youth reports having that have engaged in delinquency. Higher scores reflect higher peer delinquency.

Parental Monitoring – Scale of parental monitoring that ranges from 6 – 24 where higher scores indicate more parental monitoring.

Violence Exposure – Number of victimizations experienced, higher scores reflect more victimization.

Using the output, write a paragraph that includes the following:

1. Interpretation of the R-squared value in terms explained variance and significance

2. interpretation of the constant (i.e., intercept

3. interpretation of the standardized and unstandardized partial slope coefficients for the influence of parental monitoring on delinquency (direction and amount of change)
