Ministry leaders will need to navigate conflict in their personal lives as well as in the church. Thankfully, Scripture provides both specific guidelines and general principles for dealing with conflict.
In 1,200-1,500 words, write a research-oriented essay, using the following prompts to format the structure of the flow of thought in the essay:
Introduction (250 words)
Introduce the concept of conflict in a fallen world from a biblical perspective. Be sure to connect these thoughts clearly and directly to how conflict surfaces in ministry settings. Also, be sure to present a clear thesis statement at or near the end of the introductory paragraph. The thesis statement should name both the topic of the paper and your specific argument about the topic.
The Body of the Essay (750-1,000 words)
Address the following aspects of the topic of the paper in light of its proposed thesis statement:
A biblical view of the origin of conflict
A biblical plan and biblical principles for dealing with conflict
An application of the truths of the gospel to conflict resolution
Conclusion (250 words)
Summarize the main ideas of the essay and reaffirm its thesis in light of the arguments presented in the body of the essay.
