Over the past couple of decades, searching for candidates (and looking for a job) has become an increasingly impersonal process that relies on the internet to attract candidates, collect resumes and applications, sort candidates and communicate with them. Research this issue. Who does this process benefit? Who does it harm or leave out? What are the strengths and limits of this approach? How can HR create a more effective and robust recruitment process that helps attract a broad array of diverse and talented candidates? Support your answers with a variety of academic sources.
