Read and evaluate a sample concept paper (prospectus) for a quantitative research paper, as if you are providing feedback to a student.
Read the paper and make corrections using the Review Tab (New Comment) for all comments. (Please add the 1 page response to the end of the sample paper)
At the end of the sample concept paper:
1. provide your comments about the efficacy of the work as you would want the student to know.
2. Justify your evaluation as though you were giving the student constructive criticism for improvement and encouragement.
3. In your final comments, discuss the alignment within the paper’s components. Assess how well the components fit together.
Use the Concept Paper Checklist on the Learning Objects page, and determine whether the concept paper would be approved as part of the Application for Candidacy process.
