Self-Disclosure and Child Protection Concerns
When writing your assignment, it is important that you remember that PCI Lecturers are mandated persons under the Children First Act, 2015 in respect of any disclosure that you make about your present or past.
A report will be submitted to TUSLA if an assignment refers to the sexual abuse of a child or harm being done to a child meeting the threshold set by TUSLA, where it is deemed that there may be a current or potential future child protection concern.
