Critical Case Study AnalysisOverviewThis task requires you to produce a report on the case study that you selected/prepared inAssessment 1.The aim of this task is for you to provide a case study analysis of a public health interventionrelevant to an Indigenous population of your choosing. In adopting a Case Study approach thistask takes a 'real world' approach, mirroring the work you could reasonably be expected toundertake in public health practice.Your analysis should be informed by the themes, concepts and understandings that have beenexplored in the course (for example, the need to workwithIndigenous and tribal communities,understanding the historical and sociopolitical context of public health interventions, andrecognizing the importance of culture and identity in developing eƯ ective health programs).Your analysis should therefore: Clearly identify the program that you have selected and explore its implementation (orproposed implementation in the context of the relevant population (for example:Who isthe population? What is the need/issue being addressed? What are the sociopoliticalcircumstances of the population?) Assess the development of the program (By whom was the program developed? Basedon what information/consultation? When? In what circumstances?) Explore the implementation of the program(by whom? In what location/context? Whatbarrier/facilitators were encountered?) Assess whether the program was successful in meeting stated goals(what were thegoals? By whom were they set?) Identify how and why it was or was not successful –what elements were eƯ ective andpositive?
