The video clip you will view (see below) is a scene from American Samoa: Paradise Lost? In this scene, the interaction between American government representatives and the traditional Samoan chiefs is illustrated. Note that the High Chief, who was educated at the University of Hawaii, is more outspoken and critical of the American government representatives. Also, note how the apparent tension in the meeting may signal the potential for conflict among the two groups.
