Discuss about U.S. Central American History and Heritage (preferably by Central Americans, but can also be by other writers or scholars too). Choose a focus area, some sample subject areas: country: Panama, Guatemala…etc,. history, literature, art, film, ethnography, childrens literature, poetry, oral history, psychology.)
2. Include a very brief bio for each author (do not copy word for word, summarize what you find in book or in library or online). Bios should be 1-2 sentences.
3. Skim each book and write a paragraph with a summary and reflectionwhat is book about, what genre and style is it, how or why does it fit in to our class?
4. Pick out 1-2 book(s) or works and write an analytical essay about it/them, about how they address topics from class and how they fit into the class. Use at least one secondary source from class readings and you can add your own too. On next page, write essay (same length as midterm 4-5 pgs approx 800-1000 words)
