For your final exam (last research paper), read chapter 1 of Savage Inequalities by Jonathan Kozol and use as your thesis for this paper: How does each section we have covered this semester (politics, economics, environment, poverty, race, criminal justice, and education) all interact as social forces to impact the life chances for those in the bottom economic classes in the US? Discuss through the use of examples from Savage Inequalities and material we have used this semester to show the impact for this population that affects their opportunity for success and survival in US society. Follow the research paper guidelines from your syllabus. You may use outside sources, however, there are enough sources from our course to satisfy the requirements.
