There are many important ways that sociologists try to remain objective as they observe, analyze and try to understand society. In your initial post, discuss how you would try to remain objective as you study social life for the remainder of this course. What explanations of viewing society as a scientific researcher do you find the most helpful from the reading and videos so far? Discuss what you think would be the most difficult topic for you if you were a sociologist trying to view society without your own opinions or moral judgements. How might you overcome this?
